Good to hear good playing in the low register of the clarinet -- seems to be not so common in jazz in general, but getting more widespread in the last few years.

I've never heard Shaye play a wrong note, and I lived in New Orleans for 7 years. It's uncanny

I like this lineup. I expressed my admiration for Brennan in an earlier video. Josh Dunn definitely knows his way around that arch top. And Jay Rattman complements Dennis' playing well. Kerry Lewis lays down that driving bass line to keep things moving.

Great video Dennis. Nice to hear the violin on this one. I've not been to New Orleans since 1993 and I don't think Frenchmen Street was the big place for jazz then as it is now. I did 10 or 12 gigs in Fritzels on Bourbon Street in 93 (along with my brothers, my Dad, my friend who I've known from school and some other great jazz musicians from the UK). I really must visit again! - Thank you for your videos (from New Orleans and New York).
